# April 2026 Lesson Plan

This month is organized around two parallel goals:

- rhythmically complex, constantly evolving drum patterns
- eerie and ominous pad sounds that support those rhythms without masking them

The first third of the month builds clocking, sequencing, probability, and drum voice control. The middle third builds dark harmonic and textural pad techniques. The last third focuses on coupling both worlds, arranging sections, building performance macros, and finishing a complete piece.

Use the dated lesson files in this directory in order:

- `2026-04-01.md` through `2026-04-30.md`

Every lesson is scoped to about 60 minutes and includes:

- a clear focus
- suggested modules and manuals to skim
- a timed session plan
- reflection questions to help you evaluate what actually worked
